About Us

We grow indigenous Portuguese grape varieties

We grow Touriga Nacional, Jaen, Baga, Alfrocheiro and Encruzado. We also have two field blends of old vines. All of our grapes are grown without the use of pesticides.

Our vineyards are in Santar, the heart of the Dao wine region.

Quando os Tigres Fumavam

An exceptional wine from a small vineyard. The vineyard is bordered by a forest, olive trees and a stream.
Vines have grown in this place for a very long time. If the vines could talk, they would have many tales to tell. They might begin their story by saying: ‘Quando os tigres fumavam…’
